ICSS 2019

Recent advances in space technologies and history creating launch of 104 satellites in a single flight of PSLV, by ISRO India, generated enormous interest among academia, R&D Institutes and Industry towards development of “Small Satellites & Systems” for various applications like environmental monitoring, agriculture, space weather, space exploration and astrophysics.

Matured Nano technologies are leading to development of new miniature smart sensors making it possible to realize variety of smaller payloads. These developments are paving way for development of new small satellites for applications not thought of so far.

Seizing this opportunity, Society for Small Satellite Systems (SSSS) along with Sensors Research Society (SRS) come together to organise a Three day “International Conference on Small Satellites (ICSS)” during 7th – 9th Feb 2019 in Hyderabad, creating a common platform for all the stakeholders of small satellites and miniature sensors to discuss, deliberate and to establish technological collaborations for future developments.

The conference includes An Extensive 1 day WORKSHOP on SMALL SATELLITE DESIGN with lectures from eminent space scientists. This is highly useful for Non-Space Scientists and University Students.
